Time: 1 hour
Aerobic: Strenuous

Trailhead: From Hood River, head south on hwy. 35 for approximately 32 miles. Turn right at the sign for the Mt. Hood Meadows Nordic Skiing area (road 3545). (45 minutes)

Highlights: Although this is a short ride, expect to put forth some effort. You'll cross several creeks, see a couple of waterfalls, and climb some technical pitches before descending back to the trailhead.
